Give Your Community a Daily Briefing

We turn your existing incident data into a daily newsletter and public dashboard your residents actually read. No new systems. Nothing to maintain.

Public data without a community layer

Most departments already publish incident data — logs, PDFs, public records feeds. That's transparency. But raw data isn't a community resource. Residents scroll past it, can't interpret it, and have no way to track what's happening over time.

Civic Informer lives in that gap. We take what your department already shares publicly and turn it into something residents actually engage with — a daily digest, a visual dashboard, and a running picture of what your officers respond to every day.

A daily community briefing, built from your data

Every day, we turn your incident records into a newsletter and public dashboard that positions your department as the accessible, authoritative source of public safety information.

Daily newsletter.

Automated, readable, delivered to subscriber inboxes every morning.

Public dashboard.

Visual, searchable, accessible to anyone — no login required.

Zero new systems.

Built around your existing data publishing. Nothing to install or maintain.

Bellingham, WA

In December 2025, we launched a daily newsletter for the City of Bellingham built from the incident data BPD publishes to the city website every day. Each edition is categorized by type, mapped by neighborhood, and delivered to subscriber inboxes every morning. A public dashboard went live alongside it, giving any resident access without a login.

Within three months, the newsletter grew to over 900 subscribers with a consistent 75% open rate, more than three times the industry average. In January 2026, we published Bellingham's first annual public safety report, giving residents a full picture of what officers responded to over the prior year.

BPD didn't install new software, dedicate staff time, or spend any budget. We built the entire community-facing layer on top of the data they already publish.
