North Myrtle Beach Police Department Launches Daily Public Safety Reports with Civic Informer

What is Civic Informer?

Civic Informer is a public safety information platform that partners with police departments and other public safety agencies to provide communities with an accessible view of public records. For North Myrtle Beach, Civic Informer publishes records provided by the North Myrtle Beach Police Department as a daily report, an interactive map, Council District-level views, and a daily email. Each report covers the previous day's incidents and calls for service. Civic Informer is an additional resource for the community. It does not replace the North Myrtle Beach Police Department's existing communication channels, emergency notifications, or public records processes.

How to use Civic Informer North Myrtle Beach

The site is available at civicinformer.com/north-myrtle-beach. From there, residents can:

  • Read the daily report, published each morning, which summarizes the previous day's incidents and calls for service across the city.
  • Use the interactive map to see where the North Myrtle Beach Police Department responds. Locations are shown at the hundred-block level, never at an exact address.
  • Follow activity in each of the city's four Council Districts: Cherry Grove, Ocean Drive, Crescent Beach, and Windy Hill.
  • Review past reports to understand police activity in North Myrtle Beach over time.

Get the North Myrtle Beach daily report by email

The North Myrtle Beach daily email delivers a summary of each published report directly to subscribers' inboxes, with links back to Civic Informer for the full report, the map, and details on individual events. The email is free, and subscribers can stay informed without needing to check the site each day.
