Thursday logged just 28 incidents, 30% fewer than Wednesday and about 20% below the typical Thursday. Even with the lower incident count, the day saw an unusual four violent incidents - a burglary arrest, an attempted burglary arrest, a misdemeanor assault, and a felony assault at PeaceHealth St. Joseph.

Five of yesterday's seven arrests were repeat offenders. One of them, a 50-year-old arrested for burglary and outstanding warrants in Meridian, received his 9th arrest in our data. Meanwhile, Birchwood's attempted burglary report resulted in a 35 year-old's 6th arrest since December. The felony assault arrest at PeaceHealth involved an individual with no prior record, and the harassment arrest on Chestnut and warrant pickup on Magnolia both occurred Downtown in the evening.
