Friday logged 36 incidents but saw the lowest arrest count in over two weeks with three reports, less than half the 7-day daily average. The one violent incident was a felony assault arrest near Cordata Parkway, where a 19-year-old was taken into custody on a second-degree assault charge.

Domestic disputes (no assault) are the week's standout trend, up more than double from the prior week with 20 reports in the last seven days compared to 8 the week before - with four on Friday. Disorderly behavior remains the most common criminal category, with six non-physical disturbance reports Friday, including two at the 4100 block of Meridian St within two hours of each other overnight. Traffic collisions also ticked up, with four Friday including two hit-and-runs and an injury collision on N State St downtown.

All three arrests Friday were first-timers or near it. A 29-year-old picked up both a DUI and a warrant arrest at 1:40 AM on the 300 block of Lakeway Dr in York. A 29-year-old was arrested for shoplifting tide pods on the 2800 block of Meridian St - their second arrest in three weeks. And a 19-year-old was booked on felony assault (second degree) near Cordata Parkway at 5:24 PM, the day's only violent arrest.
