Monday's most striking incident happened before most of Bellingham was awake. At 5:32 AM, a 30-year-old with an outstanding warrant was arrested for felony assault on the 2600 Block of N Harbor Loop in downtown for "a random and unprovoked attack causing serious injuries". Overall, yesterday's 36 incidents were 29% higher than Sunday's 28.

Disorderly Behavior (Non-Physical) led categories Monday with six incidents, while Meridian saw a busy afternoon with three theft reports (two at Bellis Fair, one at the 4400 Block Walmart area). The hotel cluster on E Bellis Fair Pkwy also saw a mid-day burglary, with an arrest reported at 2:30 in the afternoon.

Six arrests Monday, three of which were repeat offenders, and two of which had outstanding warrants at the time of arrest. A 26-year-old picked up their 5th arrest for disorderly conduct Downtown, a 35 year old was picked up on a warrant marking their 2nd arrest, and the Bellis Fair burglary was the 22-year-old's 2nd arrest.
