Monday's most striking incident happened before most of Bellingham was awake. At 5:32 AM, a 30-year-old with an outstanding warrant was arrested for felony assault on the 2600 Block of N Harbor Loop in downtown for "a random and unprovoked attack causing serious injuries". Overall, yesterday's 36 incidents were 29% higher than Sunday's 28.
