Yesterday saw a total of 35 incidents with zero violent reports - 1.5 fewer violent incidents than the 30-day average, and 4 fewer than the previous day. Incident volume however, ran 22% above the 7-day average but is still well below the 8-week average.

Other Non-Criminal led the day with seven reports, mostly found property, civil matters, and information reports. Suspicious Circumstance saw four incidents and theft saw three, including two at the same block on Meridian St in Cornwall Park, about five hours apart. Behavioral Health logged three incidents, including a suicide threat in the Lettered Streets and two welfare checks. Traffic collisions meanwhile have dropped to two in the past 7-days from seven in the previous period.

Thursday saw 4 arrests, all of which were non-violent, and three of which were first-time arrests in our data. The one repeat: a 24-year-old picked up on a warrant in Silver Beach, whose only prior arrest dates back to last July. A 48-year-old was booked for malicious mischief at the 1300 block of Lakeway Dr, and a 55-year-old was arrested for trespass on N Commercial St downtown. Arrests Thursday were 44% below the 30-day average of 7.1 per day.
