Yesterday was another below-average day in terms of total incidents, however, the arrest numbers tell a different story. Eleven arrests were reported yesterday, nearly triple the 7-day average of 4.3. Four of the arrests were for violent offenses, including a felony assault near Cornwall Park and a robbery on W Magnolia downtown.

Assault categories (both felony and misdemeanor) combined for three incidents and three arrests yesterday - while Theft (frequently in the top categories of recent weeks), has actually dropped from 20 to 13 incidents in the last 7-days compared to the previous period.

Of the 11 arrests yesterday, eight involved people with prior records in our data. The narcotics arrest on the 100 Block of E Magnolia was a 38-year-old on his fifth reported arrest since July 2025, also picked up on outstanding warrants. A 23-year-old was arrested for felony assault on Squalicum Pkwy, his second arrest in less than a month (the first was April 2). The robbery arrest downtown involved an 18-year-old with no prior record, and a 28-year-old was picked up on both a misdemeanor assault and outstanding warrant on the 4100 Block of Meridian.
